Just like everyone else these days, I just do not seem to have the time to do anything. Recently I have noticed a few chips on my auto glass that I need to get fixed. I have been putting them off because I just cannot seem to find the time to take it in and get it fixed. I was told by a friend about a mobile auto glass service that her friend has used. She told me that all I have to do is call the company up and they will come wherever I am and fix it. I can even be at work and have it fixed while I am in meetings. Do these services really do a good job though? It seems a little strange that they can just come wherever I may be, but at the same time it is so convenient. It may be the only way I ever get these chips fixed. Can you please give me a little information on these mobile services and if they are really worth it?

We absolutely have heard of these mobile services. In fact, we do offer our own type of mobile services. The only problem with most of these companies is that they are not set up the same way that we are. Our mobile service is run directly through us. We only send out workers that work in our normal store as well. Most mobile services though are their own entity. Because of this, they mostly hire random workers that are not necessarily qualified for the job. Most of these workers are not certified and properly trained like our associates are.
Because most of the workers are not properly trained, you will not be getting the service you should. You will also most likely pay a premium for such services. Not just because they are coming out to your place of work or home, but because they feel like it. They will try cutting any costs they can to make more money and to get more jobs. They will not give the proper time for things to dry which means your job is not done properly. Due to this, the integrity of your glass as lowered and it will be just like not getting it fixed at all. Why spend so much money on something that is useless?
On top of not be certified and do lousy work, they will also try making you repair things that do not exist. They will claim they see other cracks and chips that must also be fixed. They may even be so bold to tell you that you need to replace your windshield when all you need are a few repairs. Rather than taking the chance on such mobile services, you should just schedule a time during your day to take it to a professional. It will be well worth the time because of how much money it may save you in the long run.
